Kate Middleton beamed as she met all the guests who arrived at Westminster Abbey for her fifth carol service on Friday.
The Princess of Wales was seen chatting delightfully and laughing individually with those attending the event, but she did not forget the crowd waiting outside the venue.
There were 1,600 people in attendance along with members of the royal family, so it wasn’t humanly possible for Kate to address every person.
Therefore, Kensington Palace shared an update after the festive event to thank fans who were looking forward to seeing it.
“Thank you to everyone who joined us at Westminster Abbey tonight, who do so much to foster love and connection in your communities and beyond,” a message was shared on social media alongside photos highlighting the scenes outside.
