The star of the professional struggle, Austin Aries, made a surprise return to Major League Wrestling (MLW) last month when he put a headset and called Battle Riot VII instead of acting in the ring.
Aries, whose real name is Daniel Healy, has been in several different promotions throughout his career, including WWE, TNA, Defy and others. He was in MLW from 2018 to 2019.

Austin Aries spoke with Pak Gazette Digital about his new comment Endeavor. (MLW)
Although fighting a disease, Aries got into the microphone with Joe Dombrowski to call the event.
“He feels good,” Aries said about his return to MLW. “Simply readjusting. I had not been in MLW for several years, I worked with them several times during my career, never sustained. It has been exciting to see the growth of the company, the impulse they have been building and many of the names they have been bringing.
“And so, when the opportunity appeared to return to the fold and did it behind the comment counter, it was definitely something he wanted to assume.”
Aries had previous experience at the announcer’s table.
He called the games for the WWE NXT block: live end of the line of the line with Michael Cole and Corey Graves in December 2016, as well as some of its weekly programs.

Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff joins a real American freestyle, brings a competitive fight to the main current
He told Pak Gazette Digital that he obtained his inspiration from the legendary commentators and managers Bobby Heenan and Jesse Ventura.
“I am trying to be the version of myself, but those guys definitely influence my style as to a heel commentator who will add a little more inclination,” he said. “I think the other thing I enjoyed those guys, and I think, as a color commentator, it is when you can bring the perspective of being in the ring that has competed. It is a complete perspective that you can give the opinions that a commentator who has not been in the ring cannot offer.”
Aries has been a champion decorated in the ring.
He was three times world heavyweight champion of TNA, six times TNA X-Division champion, twice world champion of honor, and held the 12th position in the list of the 500 best fighters of Pro Wrestling Illustrated in 2013.
Now 47, Aries said the role of the transition to a commentator was the correct movement. It does not necessarily mean that you have finished in the ring yet.
“I had the opportunity to comment when I was with WWE. It was something that opened after I was injured, and I really enjoyed it and felt comfortable doing it. And it was something that, at the bottom of my mind, I thought perhaps in the future, when I started stopping my career in the ring, maybe it would be an opportunity that I would like to follow.
“Mlw approached me and asked me if it was something I was interested in doing. So I felt, you know, I’m 47 years old, I still fight my points carefully. There is nothing to say on the road I might not take a step in the ring with MLW. But for now, it is an excellent way to return to the company. From there.”
Aries is scheduled to be in the call for the next MLW event, Azteca Lucha, on May 10 in Chicago.
