The Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) has decided to attend the meeting in the Chamber of the Parliamentary National Security Committee scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday).

According to a statement issued by Prime Minister’s office (PMO) on Sunday night, military leadership will inform legislators about the prevailing security situation in the meeting at the Chamber at the Parliament’s house on Tuesday in the midst of an increase in terrorist incidents in the country.

The session will attend parliamentary leaders of political parties in the National Assembly and the Senate, along with its nominated representatives. Relevant cabinet members will also be present.

According to a spokesman, the National Assembly Secretariat confirmed that unauthorized persons would be strictly prohibited by entry.

In addition, all entry cards, including the issuance of media staff, will be considered invalid for the session.

To maintain confidentiality, all forms of recording, videography and photography within the premises have been strictly prohibited during the meeting.

The spokesman recognized the role of the media in a democratic society, but urged the representatives of the other interested parties to cooperate in a greater interest in national security.
