ISLAMABAD:
The PTI has decided to start preparations for holding internal elections as soon as possible.
On the instructions of PTI general secretary Salman Akram Raja, a key committee was formed to carry out a comprehensive review of the party’s constitution.
The committee has been tasked with identifying and addressing all the shortcomings of the constitution and aligning it with the comparative standards of other political parties. An official notification has also been issued in this regard.
The notification said the necessary amendments to the constitution are considered essential to avoid possible objections from the ECP.
