Islamabad:
Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) has denied the reports that suggest that it plans to initiate a motion of distrust against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the president of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq.
In an exclusive statement by Express News, the president of the PTI, the lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, dismissed the reports as unfounded.
“We currently have no intention of bringing a motion of no confidence against anyone, and there have been no instructions from PTI’s founder in this regard,” Gohar said.

He added that while the option of a non -confidence motion is constitutionally available for political parties, the PTI has not considered using it at this time. “All media reports circulating on such movement are unfounded,” he said.
In response, President Ayaz Sadiq, during an informal conversation with the journalists, said he had heard about the alleged motion that was planned against him.
“I have heard that you are bringing a motion of no confidence against me. Whoever wants to pursue this desire can move on,” said Sadiq.
He expressed confidence in his position, saying that many PTI members would not support that movement.
“I have always taken care of everyone as speakers. Even if the motion occurs, their own members will not support it,” he said.
Sadiq added: “I am happy with my role, and the nation currently enjoys an atmosphere of unity. Our true heroes are those who have sacrificed their lives for the defense of our country. We greet them.”
