According to the notification, the political committee will function as the main decision-making forum of the party, responsible for shaping decisions, formulating policies and preparing guidelines for parliamentary wings.
“The Political Committee will also lay down the policies to be followed by the parliamentary parties of the party in the National Assembly, Senate and Provincial Assemblies including the Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu Kashmir assemblies,” the notification reads.
While Gandapur’s name does not appear in the new lineup, the notification adds that additional leaders may be included or removed as needed.
