Emphasizing the need to address the economic challenges facing the country, on Saturday, Pakistan’s president Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI), lawyer Gohar Ali Khan.
The president of PTI made the comments while heading to the Energy Program of the Party in the Swabi of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP). The former ruling party is watching a “Balkck Day” today against the alleged rig in the general elections last year. PTI said that his mandate was stolen during the elections the same day last year, while the ruling coalition denies the accusations.
Several leaders and workers of PTI have been arrested in fine, Muzampharabad and other cities when the party founded by Imran Khan celebrated demonstrations throughout the country in the first anniversary of the controversial elections last year.
Going to the Swabi Jala, the lawyer Gohar reiterated the statement of his party saying: “We had won elections in Punjab. Our mandate was stolen in the dark of the night. [during the polls]. “
Speaking on the occasion, the president of PTI emphasized the need for the independence of the Judiciary and the rule of law. He said: “There will be political stability if the judiciary is independent.”
Moving to the stagnant conversations between the PTI and the ruling coalition, he said that the former ruling party entered the negotiation process in the light of the leadership of the former prime minister Imran Khan.
“Imran Khan ordered to initiate conversations for the good of the country,” he added.
PTI retired from the dialogue process last month, since the Government did not accept its key demands on establishing judicial commissions to investigate the incidents of May 9, 2023 and the police repression of November 26, 2024 against its workers in Islamabad.
For his part, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s fire brand prime minister Ali Amin Gandapur warned that if his party decided to take revenge, the ruling coalition “will not be able to stand it.” He said Pakistan would suffer if hate increased.
Going to the demonstration, CM Gandapur said his party wanted the rule of law and the supremacy of the Constitution in the country.
The president of the PTI KP chapter, Junaid Akbar, revealed that the founder of PTI Incarceado will soon give another call to the protest. He said that PTI workers, through the mass public meeting, transmitted a message that they were not tired of the protests.
Speaking about the next protest of the PTI, he said: “We will reach the streets with preparations to face bullets.”
He, however, clarified that they did not want to confront the institutions.
