Information Minister Attaullah Tarar accused the PTI of colluding with anti-state elements in a “failed attempt” to harm national security.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, the minister said that people involved in defaming state institutions and those responsible for the May 9 incidents will be brought to justice.
Tarar said the “administrative and governance failures of the KP government” have led to a rise in terrorism, while drug smuggling is allegedly carried out under its supervision.
He added that Pakistan Army has full capacity to respond to any act of aggression.
