The Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) has formally sought the permission of the Islamabad district administration to hold a political meeting in the F-9 Park of the Federal Capital on August 5, in response to a call from the founder of the Imran Khan party.
According to a formal request submitted to the Islamabad Deputy Commissioner, PTI requested approval to organize a demonstration between 4 pm and 10 pm on the specified date.
The application was submitted by the general secretary of the PTI islamabad region, Malik Amir Ali, and carries the signatures of Malik Amir and the president of the Regional Party, Amir Masood Mughal.

In statements to the media after submitting the application, Malik Amir declared that celebrating peaceful meetings and protests is the constitutional and legal right of the party. “We will celebrate a demonstration in Islamabad on August 5 according to Imran Khan’s call,” he said.
The party has identified F-9 Park as the proposed place for the meeting and has emphasized its intention to celebrate a peaceful and legal event.
It is worth noting that after a series of failed protests, the founder of PTI has once again decided to demonstrate street power to campaign for the rule of law and the liberation of leaders and workers of imprisoned parties. However, the party appears divided into key policy issues, with dissident voices increasingly emerging in public.

Given the situation, a statement by the founder of PTI Incarceado Imran Khan appeared in the media, ordering each member of his party to immediately leave all internal differences and focus only on the protest movement of August 5 of the party, “for which a significant impulse is not being built today.”
Earlier this week, Aleema Khan, sister of the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, expressed her confidence that the public will take to the streets on August 5 to launch a mass movement.
