Islamabad:
PTI legislator, Sheikh Waqas Akram may be in trouble as a decision on a motion from the PML-N member, PML meter Nosheen Iftikhar is expected to be expected on August 11.
In a previous session, MNA Nueheen had moved a motion that proposed the termination of Akram’s membership, stating that his absence for 40 consecutive days justified the action under the Constitution.
In response to the motion, the president of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, on August 5 indicated that Akram’s membership could be completed. The speaker said Akram had not attended the assembly during the last 40 days and had not submitted a license application.
