Islamabad:
The opposition leader of the National Assembly, Omar Ayub, has sent six names on the side of the opposition to President Ayaz Sadiq for the formation of a parliamentary committee for the selection of a new electoral commissioner (CEC) and two members of the Pakistan Electoral Commission (ECP).
Ayub shared a letter dated June 2, 2025 on social networks, “nominate opposition members for the parliamentary committee as part of the selection process of the main commissioner and members of the Pakistan Electoral Commission (Baluchistan member and Sindh member).”
