‘Gohar hits ECP’
Speaking to journalists today, the president of the PTI, the lawyer Gohar Ali Khan, strongly criticized the ECP and defended the recent protests throughout the country, claiming that public support is still firmly behind the founding leader of the Imran Khan party.
Gohar criticized the ECP decision, saying that the electoral control agency does not have the legal authority to issue direct disqualification notifications.
“This is the first electoral commission that operates under an order of suspension of the court,” Gohar said.
When qualifying the disqualifications of the ECP as “illegal”, the lawyer Gohar said that PTI would challenge the decision of the Electoral Commission in all legal forums.
While talking about the protest of August 5 of PTI, Gohar said that the protests were carried out in 170 districts, Tehsils and union advice throughout the country, and people showed their love for Imran Khan.
