PTI says rally ‘only in swabi’ to avoid confrontation

Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) has announced that it will not participate in any confrontation or unpleasant on February 8, marking the first anniversary of last year’s general elections.

PTI’s secretary general, Salman Akram Raja, told the media in Islamabad that the party would celebrate a demonstration only in Swabi, while the protests would be carried out at the level of Tehsil and the Council of the Union. He clarified that there were no confrontation or chaos plans.

The former ruling party had sought permission to celebrate a demonstration in mine-e-pakistan on February 8, but the attached commissioner rejected the application, denying the approval of the meeting.

“The decision not to allow the demonstration was taken to maintain the situation of the law and order,” said the DC in a statement, also mentioning that the important events scheduled in Lahore on February 8, as a Cricket party, a International speaker conference and an international speaker conference and a horses and cattle show.

The government official said that thousands of security personnel had already been deployed due to these events.

The KP Prime Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced a large -scale protest on the occasion of “Black Day” tomorrow, promising to guarantee the release of the founder of PTI Imran Khan at all costs.
