Islamabad:
Up to eight newly chosen Senators from KP, including three from the PTI, lent the oath on Thursday, while Murad Saeed de PTI did not appear at the swear ceremony, since it remains in general.
The president of the Senate, Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani, administered the oath and obtained the firms of the new members, including them formally to the upper house of Parliament.
Those who made the oath include the senators of PTI Faisal Javed, Noor-Ul-Haq Qadri and Mirza Muhammad Afridi; PPP senators Rubina Khalid and Talha Mehmood; as well as Niaz Ahmed, Dilawar Khan and Atta-Ul-Haq.
