Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Friday said that the PTI must "give up your negative policy" as the party no longer had former ISI chief Faiz Hameed "trust". At a news conference in Islamabad, he called the former spy chief’s conviction a "historic decision" which reaffirmed that "the law is the same for everyone". Dr. Chaudhry said that Faiz Hameed had "used his position based on personal likes and dislikes" and interfered in political processes. "In the name of national interest, Faiz Hameed overthrew and installed governments," he stated.
