A live television debate turned chaotic when leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) clashed, exchanging punches and kicks during the broadcast.

The clash occurred between PTI’s Naeem Haider Panjotha and PML-N’s Ikhtiar Wali Khan on a political talk show on a private television channel.

Videos of the fight have gone viral on social media, attracting widespread attention.

The altercation began with an exchange of harsh words and accusations.

As tensions escalated, both leaders engaged in a physical fight, grabbing each other by the neck and punching each other, as seen in widely circulated footage.

Despite repeated attempts by the show’s host to defuse the situation, the fight continued until the production team intervened.

This is not the first case of political leaders in Pakistan resorting to violence during live debates. In earlier incidents, PML-N senator Afnan Ullah and PTI MP Sher Afzal Marwat, as well as the now-deceased Naeem-ul-Haq of the PTI and Daniyal Aziz of the PML-N, were involved in on-air altercations.

Social media users reacted strongly to the incident, with many criticizing the lack of decorum and professionalism shown by the politicians.
