Temperatures are gradually increasing in Punjab as a dry spell continues throughout the province, the department of Meteorology of Pakistan said on Saturday.

In addition, the temperature in Karachi increased to 36.9 ° C on Friday, with the Department of Meteorology of Pakistan (PMD) predicting hottest days ahead, particularly during the weekend, said Express News.

According to the PMD, it is likely that on Saturday and Sunday they will be remarkably warm, with the maximum temperatures that are expected to cross 37 ° C. On Friday, the city experienced intense sunlight throughout the day, which resulted in remarkable heat, especially in the afternoon hours.

The minimum temperature recorded on Friday morning was 21.1 ° C. However, with the wind speeds significantly lower than usual, the afternoon heat was more pronounced.

The early warning center has predicted that the winds of northwest Baluchistan can blow through the city at the end of the morning until early in the afternoon during the next one or two days. The marine breeze is expected to resume in the afternoon.
