The clouds have formed in most Punjab parts, except Lahore, where dry conditions persist, the Pakistan’s department of Meteorology (PMD) reported on Monday.
While Lahore’s heavens are still clear, climate experts predict light rain and possible snowfall in the regions of the Rawalpindi, Murree and Northern division.
It is expected that temperatures in LaHore will range between 8 ° C and 24 ° C, while other Punjab parts may experience a slight temperature drop due to the increase in cloud cover.
Previously, a new weather system entered Punjab bringing clouds, with the possibility of light rain in several districts, including Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and the Pothhahar division.
According to the Department of Meteorology of Pakistan (PMD), while the clouds will continue to cover the region, the rain possibilities remain low for most areas, including LaHore.
In Lahore, the minimum temperature has registered at 8 degrees Celsius, and a maximum range is expected to 24 degrees Celsius.
The city has experienced a relatively dry and cold spell due to the lack of rain, and this trend is expected to continue, since experts predict a shorter duration of the cold weather this year.
The Department of Meteorology has advised residents to prepare for a colder day, although the possibilities of heavy rain are minimal.
