Punjab police have now equipped their vehicles with bulletproof protection. According to police spokesman, individual and double booth bullet vehicles will be used during special operations against criminal gangs.
These vehicles have also been equipped with bullet resistance to protect border security personnel from possible attacks from foreign terrorists.
The Punjab Inspector General (IG), Dr. Usman Anwar, revealed that the Anti -Terrorist Department is also receiving bulletproof vehicles to help in rags against terrorists and antisocial elements. In addition, the crime control department (CCD) is also receiving bulletproof vehicles.
The IG added that bulletproof vehicles are also being provided to the special branch staff to inform and manage confidential issues. Bullets vehicles are expected to accelerate actions against terrorists, criminals and antisocial elements.
These vehicles will also improve operations against criminals in remote areas and will provide better staff protection at border security control points.
Previously, Punjab police in Rahim Yar Khan has launched a search operation based on intelligence in the adjacent areas of Katcha, including Paka Chandia and Dawa Wala.
As part of this operation, two Katcha’s criminal facilitators have been arrested, and their hiding places have been demolished.
Punjab police spokesman said the search operation is specifically addressed to people suspected of helping Dacoits.
The operation is carried out under the supervision of Asp Sadiqabad, with Shos de Kot Sabzal, Bhong and Ahmedpur Lama, along with elite commands and an important police force.
Police are already using armored vehicles and bullets for the operation.
IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar emphasized that all facilitators of Katcha’s criminals should be taken before justice to guarantee long -term peace in the region.
