The Anker SOLIX Solar Umbrella is a beach umbrella that can keep you protected from the sun and charge your devices at the same time. It’s one of the few portable charging solutions Anker introduced at CES 2025 and it’s already on my summer wish list.

This satisfying two-in-one device seems like the perfect solution for, say, keeping the speaker on while spending a lazy day at the beach or charging your phone on a summer camping trip. In fact, it’s also compatible with one of Anker’s electric coolers (the EverFrost 2), meaning it can serve you cold drinks and shade at the same time.

It measures 215 cm high and 190 cm in diameter. It has a power of 100W, through USB-C and XT-60 ports, allowing you to connect your devices to charge them while you relax. We don’t have many specific details at the moment, but press images suggest there is only one of each port, meaning you may have to fight over who needs more if you’re on a group holiday.

The umbrella fabric is equipped with ‘Perovskite’ solar cells, which Anker claims improve solar energy generation by 30 percent under bright sunlight and make it twice as efficient also in low light conditions. If you’re thinking of using it somewhere where the sun can’t always be trusted, rest assured that it also has an IP67 waterproof rating and is “durable.”
