My sliding was to choose a common word (caliber) instead of an unusual with a rare letter: a gauze.
It is fun when it comes out, but these options tend not to work in the long term. In this case, however, I am kicking myself as with the letters that had to be the only two options.
Amber took me a while to get and almost wrote an incorrect word just to release more clues, but finally I got there. A slow day.
