Getting the first word out of four is the best for me, and I even got all four answers before having to sweat on the last line.
Knowing four letters helped me understand a lot and I bet that the word that ended LE with A was EAGLE. However, I wasted a line with DILLY by completely forgetting that I already knew the word had a D in it. I think I was blinded by how well it was going.
