ISLAMABAD:
Friday’s National Assembly session was adjourned due to lack of quorum and proceedings were adjourned until Monday evening.
As soon as the House was about to resume its business, MNA Mehboob Shah signaled the quorum.
National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq ordered a recount, but the House was found to be understaffed.
With the quorum incomplete, the Speaker adjourned the session until 5:00 pm on Monday.
No legislative business could be addressed, nor could the chamber debate national issues.
