“I regret to inform everyone. I just were released from the WWE,” he wrote in X. “I want to thank WWE for the trip, but above all I want to thank each and every one of you who were next to the driving, thank you for all the love, support and gratitude they have given me throughout the years. Thank you.”
R-Truth had recently left a brief rivalry with John Cena in the middle of the legendary farewell tour of the WWE star. He congratulated Cena for his defense of the title against Randy Orton at the press conference after Backlash. But he bothers dinner enough for Cena to put R-Truth through the table that separates the fighter from the media.
A one-week rivalry began that finally saw Cena put an end to R-Truth, who had been announced as one of the “childhood heroes”.

The wrestling world sent his good wishes to R-Truth after the announcement.
Initially he joined WWE in 1999 and debuted as “K-Kwik” with “Road Dogg” Jesse James. He was there from 1999 to 2001, when he was first released. He spent time with the total action fight without stopping before returning to WWE in 2008.
He returned as R-Truth and had been a very favored competitor in the ring and also in the microphone.
R-Truth was a champion of the United States, Hardcore champion and world-class team champion twice each. He held the 24/7 short duration championship a record 54 times. In 2004, Pro Wrestling Illustrated classified him 18 in the list of the 500 main fighters in the business.
