The Department of Meteorology (PMD) has issued a weather alert for several regions of the country, predicting thunderstorms, rains and snowfall in several areas in the next few days.
According to the forecast, Alto Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, the Pothhahar, Islamabad, Murree and Garyat region can experience flaps and intermittent snowfall, along with strong winds and thunderstorms. KP is expected to see the rain and snowfall in areas such as Dir, Chitral, Kohistan, Swat, Shangla, Mansehra, Buner, Abbottabad, Swabi, Mardan, Malakand, Bajaur, Mohmand, Khyber, Kurram, Nowshera, Peshawar, Charsadda and close regions They are also probable thunderstorms, and some places receive heavy rains and intense snowfall.
Other areas, including Kohat, Karak, Bannu, Waziristan, Laki Marwat and Dera Ismail Khan, are expected to experience strong winds, thunderstorms and rain, with the possibility of hail.
