Islamabad:
The purse who live on both sides of the control line (LOC), and worldwide, observed the day of the Kashmir martyrs on Sunday to pay tributes to the martyrs of the massacre of July 13, 1931, and all those who sacrificed their lives for freedom.
The day was marked by a complete closure in Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk) of illegally occupied and a march towards the cemetery of the martyrs in Naqashband Sahib in Srinagar, where the 22 martyrs of July 13, 1931, the tragedy of 1931 stops.
To honor the martyrs, the demonstrations, the seminars and the conferences were organized by the organizations of Kashmir in Azad Jammu and Cashmiro (AJK), Pakistan and major capitals around the world.
In Muzaffarabad, a police contingent intelligently presented greeting in the Shuhada monument in the morning as a brand of respect for shuhada. The Pasban-E-Hurriatyat also organized a protest demonstration in Burhan Wani Shaheed Chowk.
Later in the day, the Kashmir Liberation Cell in collaboration with all the parts of the Chapter of the Hurriyat Ajk Conference organized a public meeting followed by a mass demonstration in Muzaffrabad.
Meanwhile, President Asif Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the political, moral and diplomatic support of Pakistan to the people of Cashmira in their separate messages on the occasion of the day of the martyrs of Kashmir.
President Zardari praised the unwavering value, determination and sacrifices of the people of Cashmiro, who resisted the Indian occupation for decades and continued their struggle for self -determination.
“Pakistan pays tribute to courage, determination and sacrifices of the people of Cashmiro, who have remained firm against the Indian government for decades and continue to fight for their freedom,” he said.
“The great struggle that the people of Kashmiro is carrying out today is a continuation of the sacrifices of these 22 martyrs. The candle of freedom that their sacrifice was lit in the hearts of the nation of Kashmir is still burning brilliantly today.”
He urged international community organizations and human rights to take an immediate warning about Indian-State terrorism and the serious abuse of human rights in the occupied territory.
“Pakistan will continue to provide political, moral and diplomatic support to the Kashmir brothers until they achieve their right to self -determination in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council,” he concluded.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, in his message, said that the people of Kashmir had continued to sacrifice their lives in search of their legitimate struggle for the right to self -determination.
“Today, the Pakistan government reaffirms its commitment to the resolution of the Kashmiror problem and the right of self -determination of Jammu and Kashmir according to the resolutions of the United Nations,” he said. (With Pakistan radio entrance)
