Rash on Trump’s neck raises new questions about his health

United States (US) President Donald Trump’s health has once again come under scrutiny after a rash appeared on his neck during his last public appearance on Monday, March 2, 2026.

The president’s personal doctor has now clarified that the rash on his neck is not a cause for concern, adding that it was the result of a cream Trump was using for his preventative skin treatment.

In an interview with cnnsaid Dr. Sean Barbabella: “President Trump is using a very common cream on the right side of his neck, which is a preventative skin treatment.”

He added: “The president receives the treatment for a week and the redness is expected to last for a few weeks.”

The doctor did not specify the underlying skin condition.

The rash on his neck appeared just weeks after the 79-year-old was seen with bruising on the back of his hands, which he linked to frequent handshakes and a higher daily dose of aspirin.

President Trump’s doctor has maintained that his overall health is excellent.

Social media users expressed mixed reactions. One user wrote: “Dude is legit decomposing before our eyes,” while another said the redness was normal for someone his age.
