The open receiver of the Kansas City bosses, Rashee Rice, will participate fully in the training camp despite having been sentenced to 30 days in jail after their participation in a car accident of chain reaction that left people injured last year in Dallas.
Chief coach Andy Reid said Rice, who had a work season in his rookie year in 2023, will be seen throughout the training camp, but will not comment if he can participate fully during the regular season.
Reid said the NFL has not told him what his discipline will be, which is expected, for Rice. At the moment, the Chiefs will operate as they would normally do it to prepare Rice and the rest of the team for week 1.

“We are going to progress as normal with him,” Reid said. “It will enter and take all the repetitions it will normally take. We always turn that position. Depending on what happens here with the future, who needs to play will intervene and know what they are doing and will be in good shape to do it.”
RICE declared himself guilty of two charges for serious third grade crimes that involved serious body lesions and races on a road that caused body injuries in the March 2024 accident.

RICE was sentenced to five years of deferred probation, as well as 30 days in jail as a condition of his probation, which was part of a guilt.
The Dallas County District Prosecutor said that the rice also had to pay the victims of the accident for pocket medical expenses, which amounted to an estimated $ 115,000.
It was determined that Rice was driving a Lamborghini Urus at 119 MPH when he deviated around traffic and hit the vehicles, causing the collapse of the chain reaction in Central Expressway Central. Prosecutors said Rice could not verify those involved in the accident and fled on foot.

Rice issued a statement after the accident, saying that “I would assume all part in this matter.” In a statement issued by his lawyer, Rice said he had “many insomnia nights thinking about the damages that my actions caused, and I will continue working within my means to ensure that all those affected become complete.”
With the finished legal process, the NFL can now go through its own process to determine how they could discipline Rice, who will go to its third season of the NFL.
RICE had a start in 2024, seeking to go in the same direction after his rookie year saw 79 receptions for 938 yards and seven touchdowns launched by Patrick Mohamses. Rice played a role in the Chiefs winning his second consecutive Super Bowl that season.
In 2024, Rice had 24 trapped for 288 yards with two touchdowns in just three games. However, week 4 proved to be a nightmare, as he broke his LCL trying to make a Tackle after an interception of Mohamses against the Los Angeles Chargers. It cost Rice all season.

Since then, Rice has recovered and participated in the low season program of the team. Reid mentioned that Rice would not be limited in the training camp, which means that he is 100% ready to work.
However, while preparing for the 2025 season, there will be the possible discipline of the NFL that is coming over its head until the voice arrives from the league.
