Robert Downey Jr. and Sarah Jessica Parker’s relationship began in 1984 and ended years later in 1991. Iron man Star was fighting a severe drug and then admitted that his addiction was an important reason why they separated.
“I liked to drink, and I had a drug problem, and that did not make fun of Sarah Jessica, because it is the further of what it is,” Robert admitted.
Now, author Ben Falk, who wrote a book about Marvel’s star, echoed the same in an interview with The mirror us, Say: “His first great, great love was with Sarah Jessica Parker, who was again, like [his wife] Susan actually, a kind of complete opposite to him. “
The author pointed out how this was different from his dynamics with his first wife Deborah Falconer.
“Deborah was on the party scene in Hollywood and I think they did many of their parties together,” he explained.
However, the Avengers actor finally married Susan Levin, who Falk considers quite similar to his previous love Sarah.
“Susan comes, she is a producer, professional. I wanted to succeed in the business, but it was not recognized as talent,” he said.
“And I think what has always needed is that kind of Sarah Jessica Parker again. He has needed that kind of guide hands. Someone to take care of him. And he and Susan make an incredible pair. They are clearly perfect for each other,” he explained.
