The many personal belongings of the Diana -style princess, including designer dresses and more, will be auctioned soon. But the collection will not include any of its coveted coats.
The auction, which will take place on June 26, will have more than 300 of Diana’s personal belongings, except her coats.
Martin Nolan, co -founder and executive director of Julien’s Aucion, who has the style of Princess Diana and a real collection, has revealed why it is so.
“We learned through this how generous Diana was, always giving articles. And you never see a coat of Diana, auction because it used to make your butler or your staff or friends drill through London [in] January, February, [in the] freezing the cold, “he shared, for Express daily.
He shared that the former Princess of Wales was generous and delivered her coats to people in need in winter.
He added: “She would find homeless people and give them her coats. This was her, without any show or whatever.”
Otherwise, Nolan shed light on Diana’s self -expression through her dresses.
Sharing information about a 1986 night dress, “this beautiful dress was designed by Catherine Walker, with the Falcons in migration mode to the bottom.
“When Diana made her own auction in 1997, only two months before she died suddenly, this was one of the dresses she sold for charity,” he continued.
“He sold more than 70 dresses at the request of his son, Prince William, and raised money for his beneficial organizations. He raised more than $ 3 million, which was huge at that time,” he shared.
Princess Diana died in 1997 after a horrible car accident.
