James Gunn recently announced that batman part 2 It has been delayed for another year.
Taking it to Instagram Threads, the CEO of DC Studios shared the news with his fans about the reason for the continuous delay in the release of the film.
Reflecting on the film, which was initially scheduled for release in October 2025, he wrote: “The only reason for the delay is that there is no complete script (those of you who follow me here probably already know this).”
batman part 2 It will star Robert Pattinson, who plays Batman, Zoë Kravitz, Colin Farrell and Paul Dano.
Furthermore, Gunn revealed that director, Matt Reeves, is currently involved in the script to write the best script.
“Matt is committed to making the best movie possible and it’s anyone’s guess exactly how long it will take to write a script,” he added.
Before concluding, Gunn shared, “Once there’s a finished script, there’s about two years left in pre-production, filming, and post-production for big movies.”
batman part 2 has changed its release date from October 2, 2026 to October 1, 2027.
