Boston’s red socks organized their annual Pride night on Monday, and many fans were treated with a hat to celebrate the cause.
The red socks also implored fans to “arrive early for a pride party”, which presumably was a drag show in the lobby.
“We know that visibility and inclusion in sports not only affirm everyone’s right to participate and long, but also enrich the spirit of competition and camaraderie,” said the public broadcaster of the stadium, through Outkick.

A Reddit thread showed a 2022 drag show, which is also the first year of people in Drag attended the celebration.
The people representing the LGBTQ+ community were invited to the field for the first ceremonial launch.
The Los Angeles Dodgers did something similar two years ago when they invited the sisters of perpetual indulgence, which presents artists to the artists of the use of traditional religious habits, and honored them with an award to the community for their “work that saves lives.”

The team rescinded its invitation shortly before the celebration due to a violent reaction, but invited them to return and honored them long before the first release.
Boston fell to the Rays of Tampa Bay, 10-8, after taking two of the three of the New York Yankees in the Bronx over the weekend. In 2022, several Rays players refused to use pride patches during the night of their own team.
