Reese Witherspoon has surprisingly revealed that director David Fincher refused to put her in Girl out.
While appearing for an interview in the The Curcurists Podcast, argued with frankness how the director refused to choose her for the role of Amy Dunne, who ended up going to Rosamund Pike.

Sharing how his fame would play a role in the movie that was released, he said: “I think it’s probably for him, yes. I brought a audience with me that he likes and wants him to win.”
However, the rejection of the film was fundamental for the 49 -year -old actress to understand her role as a producer.
“Producing also means getting out of the way when you are supposed to do it. Do your job to promote, continue joining people, continue building creative groups so that the final result is the best work it could be,” he added before leaving the chat.
