Islamabad:
The Board of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved several key initiatives, including the regularization of 22 temporary employees, waiting for the final decision of an appeal in the Supreme Court. This decision was made in the light of the directives of the National Commission of Industrial Relations (NIRC) and the Superior Court of Islamabad.
The eleventh meeting of the CDA Board was held on Tuesday at the headquarters of CDA in Islamabad, chaired by the president of the CDA, the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad and the Civil Defense DG, Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The members of the Board and other senior officials also attended. During the meeting, several articles on the agenda were discussed. The president of the CDA directed that future promotions and regularities of employees should align with the policies of the establishment division, Pakistan government.
The CDA Board also decided to actively pursue the transformation of the Vivare of the CDA model into a “Centro de Gardenia”. To this end, the Board reviewed the technical aspects and affiliation requirements with the University of Punjab to establish a landscaping and horticulture institute under the Vivera Cda Environment Wing.
The CDA will collect more information and meet all the legal requirements for affiliation with the corresponding department of the University of Punjab, Lahore. This institute aims to offer BS titles and one -year diploma programs in horticulture and landscaping.
