Report highlighting the repairs of the Buckingham Spark Royal Criticis Palace

Criticisms against the British Royal Family have intensified after a BBC report that said public financing for the Royal Household has tripled in real terms since 2012.

According to BBC, the increase in financing was largely driven by repairs and construction work at Buckingham Palace.

The Anti-Monarchy Group, Republic, has used the report to feed its campaign against King Charles and his family, demanding the elimination of the United Kingdom monarchy.

The group is highlighting the report and criticisms that it has generated in its social media accounts, especially X, previously Twitter.

He also made a demonstration in Trafalgar Square, London, asking the king to be replaced by an elected and democratic state.

Meanwhile, the CEO of the Republic, Graham Smith, appeared in the British station GB News and Prince William, the eldest son of King Charles and heir of the British throne.

He said: “Part of the problem with them and part of the problem with William, who is in line to be the next monarch, is that it is incredibly vague. He does nothing.”

Smith said: “In the last month, he did about four days of work. When I say work, I mean appearing and greet people. Most of whom is done in or near their homes.

He added: “They cost us. They cost us half a billion a year. For a whole family, which we do not need, including the people of which most people would never have heard, all are included in this cost.”
