Islamabad:
The Senate on Friday unanimously approved a resolution to mark the 1500º Milad-Un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious fervor, respect and unity through national celebrations.
Moved by Senator Irfan Siddiqui, the resolution recommended that federal and provincial governments take special measures at the highest level to commemorate the occasion.
The celebrations would include Milad Mahafils, extensive media campaigns, well -being initiatives and the decoration and lighting of buildings. All government and non -governmental institutions must actively participate in activities.
