‘RHOBH’ Alum Adrienne Maloof Opens Up About the Struggles of an Empty House

Adrienne Maloof has opened up about the emotional challenges of becoming an empty nester.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum said PEOPLE magazine about her experience living alone now that her children have grown up and moved away from home.

“My oldest son is 21 years old. [and Gavin is] in the industry. And then I have twins [Colin and Christian] That’s 18. So yeah, I have three kids, and now they’re… all like adults. It’s sad. “I’m in an empty nest and it’s very difficult,” he told the outlet.

Although Maloof’s sons Gavin, 21, and twins Colin and Christian, 18, visited her for Christmas, she admitted it wasn’t enough, saying: “It’s never enough for mums.”

“I like the excitement. I like the laughter. My children bring their friends always ready to feed them. I miss it. I really miss it,” he added.

Despite the sadness, she remains focused on the future, saying, “I’ve learned that I have to move on to the next chapter of my life.”

“And I have big projects ahead of me. So I feel blessed about that,” Maloof added.
