The NCAA changed a change and seemed to alter its gender participation policy to prohibit biological men in women’s sports following the executive order of President Donald Trump.
Two weeks after the executive order of No Men In Women’s Sports, the long -standing critics of the Collegiate Athletic Association of the main ones in the United States have indicated that the new policy leaves much to be desired. Riley Gaines, Jennifer Sey, Kim Jones and others who have defended the protection of women’s sports have indicated the possible gaps in the NCAA’s policy.
The main criticism is that politics does not reach far enough or establishes clear barriers to protect women’s athletes in university ranks. The most common criticism has been that politics supposedly allows trans athletes to omit the restriction by changing gender in their birth certificate.

In the United States, 44 states allow altering birth certificates to change the birth sex of a person. The only states that do not allow this are Florida, Texas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Montana. Meanwhile, there are 14 states that allow sex in a birth certificate to change without required any medical documentation, including California, New York, Massachusetts and Michigan.
Gaines, the host of the podcast “Gaines for Girls” of Outkick and former American swimmer in Kentucky, told Pak Gazette Digital in an interview on Wednesday that the new NCAA policy is “explicitly in conflict” with Trump’s executive order.
“No. 1, first of all, this policy eliminates all the responsibility of the NCAA, which, of course, is something that has been in its minds for a long time,” Gaines said. “It provides gaps for both states and schools because it does not define sex, what we have seen now is a problem, unfortunately. I mean, it is wild that we have to define terms based on sex as men and women, but We have seen what happens when we do not.

“Therefore, it does not define sex, does not define masculine or women, but defines gender identity. And defines gender identity as a man and woman. Then, of course, you can see where a problem is. The qualifications on how They consider and assign sex are based on their birth certificate, which, of course, is a role that we have seen that it can be totally forged and fraudulent. “
“This policy explicitly allows men and women in the Women Those and more are just some reasons why this NCAA policy is certainly problematic, “he said.
The new NCAA policy for athletes “assigned to men at birth” and their participation in women’s teams declared that athletes may not compete in the women’s team, but “they can practice in the team according to their identity gender and receive all other applicable benefits applicable to athletes students who are otherwise eligible for practice. “
A NCAA spokesman told Pak Gazette Digital that the governing body will not allow Trans athletes to compete in the women’s category based on modified birth certificates.

“Politics is clear that there are no exemptions available, and athletes assigned to men at birth may not compete in a team of women with modified birth certificates or other forms of identification,” said the spokesman.
With regard to athletes, traveling in a female team, NCAA considers that male practice players are a “basic element” of women’s sports.
“Male practice players have been a basic element in university sports for decades, particularly in female basketball and the association will continue to explain that in politics,” said the spokesman.
Gaines told Pak Gazette Digital that politics “speaks for itself.”
“Politics is simply not clear. Again, it eliminates the responsibility of the NCAA,” he said. “Then, of course, they will say: ‘Look, the responsibility is not in us. We have done what we have to do.’ The conclusion is that they have opened women almost even more than their previous policy, since they have removed detection and supervision.
“These schools can, mark my words, interpret it as what they want to mean. I don’t know why so many people are so naive to believe that NCAA essentially grew a spine overnight and decided to do all their power to protect To athletes, female or masculine, because as someone who was at the receptor of the NCAA abuse, I can tell him that this is not the case. He has changed unfortunately. “
Kim Jones, former university and co -founding tennis star of the Independent Women’s Sports Council, said in “Fox & Friends” that he would implore Trump to return NCAA to the table, start the new policy and start again.

Gaines said he would tell the president that it was now time to maintain NCAA’s “feet”. “
“The NCAA certainly receives federal funds. Therefore, if they are not willing to comply with the executive order of President Trump, again, exhaustive and beautifully written, then I think the NCAA should lose federal funds,” he said.
