Riley Gaines wants Caitlin Clark, Simone Biles

The movement against transgender athletes in women’s sports and girls has attracted the support of most Americans, politicians in power and even a niche consumer market. Now, one of the leaders of that movement is asking for some great reinforcements with stars.

The former swimmer of the NCAA and influential conservative Riley Gaines has been one of the most active defenders of the movement, which dates back to his infamous link with the transgender swimmer Lia Thomas in the Championships of the NCAA 2022. In 2024, Gaines became the first brand ambassador for the brand activist of sportswear XX-X-Xy Athletics.

The brand won prominence and profitability by becoming the first sportswear company dedicated to promoting activism against transgender inclusion in women’s sports. He also created financial incentives so that university athletes of women throughout the country take a position on the subject by signing with the brand.

Gaines believes that two stars can help boost the brand and movement to new heights.

“The people who I think would be criticism for this movement are, of course, people like Caitlin Clark, people like Simone Biles, which I think is definitely an exaggeration, but these are women who have been able to destroy glass roofs and break barriers, who are models to young women in the whole country,” Gaines told Pak Gazette Digital in an exclusive interview.

How the transgender in sports changed the 2024 elections and lit a national counterculture

“Make them say emphatically that [trans athletes] Do not belong to female sports, the problem would be solved at all levels, as yesterday, if they were willing to do this. ”

Gaines said that “it is not as far from reach” as it sounds due to a change in culture among Americans to protect women and girls from transgender athletes.

The founder of XX-XY, Jennifer Sey, a former American gymnast and executive of Levi, directed the tone of Gaines to Clark and Biles in a statement to Pak Gazette Digital.

“We are always encouraging more female athletes to join the fight. And we would love to work with anyone who defends the integrity of women’s sports. We are in constant conversations with those who have stood up or are considering doing so,” said Sey. “We believe this ends when athletes defend female sports in large quantities.”

Sey previously told Fox Business that his brand exceeded a seven -digit gain in its first 10 months in 2024, but still believes that its brand lacks a female superstar athlete as a brand ambassador.

“There is no top -level competitive athlete or coach who has defended the protection of women’s sports,” said Sey.

“We do not currently have competitors who have spoken.

Gaines and Sey say that the brand is “in conversations” with prominent athletes women, including Olympics.

“They are in process and (there are) conversations with many incredible, Olympic athletes and beyond,” Gaines said.

A recent one New York Times/Ipsos Survey He discovered that the vast majority of Americans, including most Democrats, do not believe that transgender athletes are allowed to compete in women’s sports.

“Thought in Transgender female athletes – That is, athletes who were men at birth but currently identify as women, do you think they should or may not be able to compete in women’s sports? “Asked the survey.

Of the 2,128 people who participated, 79% said that biological men who identify as women should not be allowed to participate in women’s sports.

Of the 1,025 people who identified themselves as Democrats or inclined Democrats, 67% said that transgender athletes should not be able to compete with women.

Almost 70% of Americans say that biological men should not be allowed to compete in women’s sports, according to a Gallup poll last year.

In June 2024, a survey Made by NORC at the University of Chicago When respondents were asked if the transgender athletes of both sexes should be allowed to participate in sports leagues that correspond to their preferred gender identity instead of their biological sex. In that survey, 65% responded that never or would never be allowed. When respondents on adult transgender athletes who compete in women’s sports, 69% opposed him were asked specifically.

However, the resistance to opposing trans inclusion in women’s sports has caused harassment and even crime against athletes involved in the movement, including ambassadors of the XX-XY athletics brand.

The former Co-Capitan of Women’s Volleyball of the State University of San José, Brooke Slusser, who signed with the brand after speaking against his school and the NCAA, citing his experience with his transgender teammate Blaire Fleming in the fall, told Pak Gazette Digital that he had to leave the campus this seventh after being harassed and threatened by his beliefs.

The former SJSU assistant coach of SjSser, Melissa Batie-Smoose, who appeared in the recent announcement of “We Vee You Ncaa” of XX-XY Athletics, had a shot in her home in February and believes that she was objective to speak against the supposed favoritism of Fleming of the University.

“It’s crazy what we’ve seen from the other side,” Gaines said. “But it doesn’t have the strangulator it ever did.”
