The lateral layer of the LEDger (XRPL) (XRPL) (XRPL) (XRPL) (EVM) of Ethereum (EVM) is scheduled to live in the second quarter, Jaazi Cooper, Director of Product Management in Ripple, and David Schwartz, the Ripple technology director said in the ongoing conference of Apex 2025 in Singapore.

The XRPL EVM Sidechain Testnet was performed live earlier this year and is experiencing rapid growth, according to Peersyst Technologies.
“87 new entities, without previous participation of XRP, are now contributing to the ecosystem: infrastructure, applications and demand generation,” Peersyst said in X. “When Mainnet starts, everything becomes part of the XRP ecosystem, possibly the greatest incorporation into the history of XRP.”
The EVM Sidechain will allow users potentially generating performance through defi applications, such as liquidity groups and intelligent contractual interactions.
