Rising Stars helps WNBA to apply the record of assistance of all time

The WNBA regular season has entered its local section. But before it reaches its conclusion, the League announced that a record number of fans attended games this season.

Until Wednesday, “2,501,609 fans” dedicated themselves to the WNBA games in person, which established the “record of assistance of all time,” said the League. The figure exceeded the previous brand that was established in 2002.

The WNBA had 16 teams at that time, but it is currently composed of only 13 franchises. It also took WNBA 256 games to reach the milestone in 2002.
