River flows increases through Pakistan

Islamabad:

India’s efforts to drown the river water to Pakistan seem to have failed since total entries in the country’s main rivers increased more than 236,000 CUSECs, according to the data collected on Saturday.

The latest figures reveal that the accumulated entrance in the rivers in Pakistan has reached 236,000 Cusecs, with the Chenab river in the head Marala only receiving 66,000 Cusecs.

In Mangla, the entrance to the Jhelum River was recorded at 50,000 CUSECs. The Indo River in Tarbela saw an entry of 83,000 Cusecs, while the Kabul River in Nowshera registered an entrance of 36,000 Cusecs.

Currently, the total storage of usable water in the main deposits of Pakistan is 1,979 million acres-pies.

The last water situation paints an image of abundance despite the recent threats of New Delhi and the hostile rhetoric that surrounds the Treaty of the Indo waters.
