Robert De Niro shared some rare ideas about his raising as a seven -year -old father.
In a recent conversation with Entertainment tonightThe 81 -year -old actor shared his best parenting rule when it comes to raising his children.
“Well, there are certain things you can do and certain things you can’t do. The main thing is to support your children,” he told The Outlet. “As long as they do not hurt themselves, doing something destructive or something, you have to support them.”
“Even if you don’t do it or think they are going to do it, whatever, you have to support them. And they have to know that you support them. Always.”
It is pertinent to mention that Robert and his wife are parents of his son Raphael, 48, and his daughter Drena, 53.

While with the ex -wife Grace Hightower, he welcomed her 27 -year -old son Elliot, and her daughter Helen Grace, 13.
