Robert Pattinson jokes that he wants to play teenage roles again.

The 39-year-old actor recently sat down with his Die my love his co-star Jennifer Lawrence, 35, for a new video interview with vanity fair.

The couple discussed everything from Twilight to generational labels, with Pattinson joking that he would happily steal some jobs from younger actors if he had the chance.

At one point, Lawrence asked him if he would ever reprise his role as Edward Cullen, but only if directors Josh and Benny Safdie were behind it. “Oh, yeah, sure,” he replied.

Lawrence laughed and told him, “I don’t think you should do it,” to which Pattinson doubled down: “That would be great! I like taking jobs from younger actors. Yeah, I want to play 17 again.”

He then jokingly referenced Zac Efron’s 2009 comedy. 17 againAnd he added: “There is a movie. Zac’s movie.”

Lawrence then mocked the Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire star about her supposed Gen Z tendencies.

“I thought it was crazy when you FaceTimed me,” he said. “I was like, ‘That’s crazy to FaceTime someone,’ and you were like, ‘No, it’s Generation Z.'”

“I mean, I’m Gen Z,” Pattinson replied confidently.

“Do you wish you were from Generation Z?” -Lawrence asked. “I am,” he insisted, to which she replied, “You’re not Gen Z, you’re a millennial… but I think you think you’re Gen Z.”

When asked about his year of birth, Pattinson joked: “It doesn’t matter.”
