The desert is a pillar of Dune universe, and Robert Pattinson, who has confirmed rumors that he will star in the next installment, knows this the hard way.
In an interview with IndieWiresays, “When I was making Dune, it was so hot in the desert that I couldn’t question anything.”
The star continues: “And it was so relaxing, like my brain wasn’t really working, I didn’t have a single brain cell working.”
“And I was listening to Denis [Villeneuve]: ‘Whatever you want!’ He adds: “I actually found it relaxing. Now I’m applying it to other roles,” adds the 39-year-old.
Previous reports suggested that Twilight The actor was all set to play a key villain in the upcoming film. However, it is unclear which character he will play. Meanwhile, fans believe the star will play Scytale, the shape-shifting Face Dancer.
Dune 3 It is scheduled to be released in theaters in 2026.
