The World Series champion, Roger Clemens, addressed Ryan Wesley Routh’s recent condemnation, who tried to kill President Donald Trump last September, Tuesday.
During an interview in “The Will Cain Show” by Pak Gazette, Clemens was asked about his reaction to the news that Routh was convicted of all charges for the attempt at murder.
“You just breathe deeply,” Clemens said. “I still shook the head not long ago when, in Pennsylvania, they let a crazy man enter a rally with a golf range search engine. I mean that I just shook my head with these things. As, why are you going to a rally with a golf range search engine?”

Clemens, a Trump open supporter who became friends with the president and played golf with him in the past, reacted to the fact that Routh tried to kill Trump in a golf course while the president played.
“When we did golf with him in Virginia, the president hit the ball wonderfully, but it is a bit intense when you have 30 golf cars and you have Swat equipment and secret service around you,” Clemens said.
“I love him. The reason I voted for him is because it is meaningless, common sense and meaningless. I love him.”

Clemens encouraged Americans who cannot agree with Trump to still support their success, comparing the opinions of those people with his opinion about former President Barack Obama.
“I didn’t vote for [Obama]But once he became our president, he was supporting him to do something well for us, and that is the way I always feel that people should join, “Clemens said.

Routh, 59, was accused of five federal criminal positions, including the attempt to kill an important presidential candidate, assault a federal officer and multiple crimes of firearms.
