Roger Goodell of the NFL tells NYC employees to work from home after shooting

The NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, has informed all employees based in New York City to work from home until next week after the tragic mass shooting that happened at its headquarters on Monday night.

Goodell was in communication with all the employees of the League on Monday, and declared that a staff member was “seriously injured”, although in a stable condition in a local hospital after the massive shooting that took the lives of four, including a police officer out of service, before the armed man took his life.

Pak Gazette Digital obtained the last “message of the commissioner”, which declared the league’s plans that all New York employees work remotely at the moment.

“For those of you based in our New York office, plan to work remotely at least until the end of next week (August 8),” said the Memo. “The office will remain closed during this time, and we ask you not to try to enter the building until we confirm that you are ready for us to return.”

Goodell also said in the memorandum that “our hearts are with all the victims and their families, and we are deeply grateful for the first to respond and the medical staff who acted so fast and continue to provide attention.”

“Our thoughts and prayers are still especially with our colleague who was affected,” the memorandum continued. “It is currently surrounded by his family and members of the NFL community, and we all continue waiting and support his complete recovery.”

Goodell also praised the New York Police officer, Didarul Islam, the 36 -year -old police officer who died while working in security within 345 Park Avenue, in his memo before employees.

“We are deeply grateful to the law agents who responded to this threat quickly and decisively and the Islam officer, who gave his life to protect others,” said the memorandum.

The Mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, revealed on Tuesday in “Good Day New York” of Fox 5 Ny that the gunman was trying to point to the headquarters of the NFL, but took the wrong elevator bank. He said the floor he took was for Rudin’s management.

Adams added to the gunman, who was identified as Shane Tamura, 27, alluded to suffering chronic traumatic encephalopathy, better known as CTE. I had a complaint with the NFL.
