“I was a little angry because I knew that Scottie’s driver had failed on Monday, but my name was the one who leaked,” Mcilroy said at a press conference, through the New York Post. “He was supposed to remain confidential. Two members of the media were the ones who leaked him.”
Scottie Scheffler, the winner of the PGA championship, who marked her first great victory outside her two green jackets of the Masters, also had a non -compliant pilot. However, it was better with an end of 11 low.

At that time, Scheffler’s name remained confidential, but Siriusxm PGA Tour Radio reported Mcilroy’s situation during the week.
“I did not want to get there and say something that I regretted either, because I am trying to protect Scottie. I don’t want to mention his name. I am trying to protect Taylormade, I’m trying to protect the USGA, PGA from America, myself,” Mcilroy continued.

The PGA Tour does not require that the golfers talk to the media, unlike the other major sports leagues in the country. Mcilroy said that while “he understands the benefit” of having media coverage during tournaments “, if we all wanted, we could all overlook you, and we could go to social networks and we could talk about our round and do it on our own way,” he said.
“If you want to make it mandatory, it is fine. But in our rules, it says that it is not, and until the day it is written in the regulations, men will have to skip from time to time, and that is within our rights.”

Mcilroy, who completed the Grand Slam of his career this year with a victory in The Masters, is looking for his fourth victory in this season of PGA Tour in TPC Toronto in Osprey Valley this week.
If you can do it, it would be quite impulse to go to the Oakmont Country Club next week for the third major of the year: the US Open.
