Rory Mcilroy has never moved away from the garbage during an Ryder cup, and with the Bethpage Black tournament this week, he started again.
Mcilroy, who will star in the European team, pointed to a specific player of the US team.: Bryson Dechambeau.
Dechambeau said earlier this summer that he expected to talk to Mcilroy in the Ryder Cup. Mcilroy ruled out.

“I think the only way in which it is striking is to mention other people,” Mcilroy told The Guardian in an interview during the weekend. “That is basically what I think of that. To get attention, I will mention me or Scottie [Scheffler] or others “.
The rivalry between Mcilroy and Dechambeau grew from his confrontation in the Masters in April, where Mcilroy won his first green jacket to complete the Grand Slam of his career. During that round, Mcilroy was paired with Dechambeau, who fought in Augusta National.

Then, Dechambeau told journalists that he never spoke with Mcilroy during the final round and found him strange. Mcilroy, however, saw it differently.
“I will not try to be his best partner,” he said in the PGA championship.
The dispute revived at the Open of US 2024, where Dechambeau prevailed after the collapse of McCilroy’s final round in Pinehurst No. 2.
Mcilroy’s open opposition to Liv Golf, where Dechambeau now has fed the tension between the two stars.
That prepares the stage for this week in Bethpage Black, where garbage is expected both in the course and among fans. The place anticipates about 50,000 spectators per day during the three -day tournament.
