Rawalpindi:
Armed thieves looted approximately RS4.3 million of a medical store located in the Haroon Chowk area, Sadiqabad, during a robbery of daylight.
The incident, captured in CCTV, showed three suspects with Shalwar Kameez entering the store.
One of the thieves stood on the door while the other two entered. One of them took a man’s gun at the entrance and used it to threaten the owner of the store, the seller and a client.
The footage showed the suspects who pointed to individuals who do not move.
One of the thieves quickly took the cash box from behind the counter and left the store with his accomplice, while the third man maintained surveillance before fleeing.
The store owner declared that, in addition to the cash, the thieves also took a wallet and an identity card. Police confirmed that the incident took place and said that a case was being registered.
The newly appointed Sp Rawal, Saad Arshad, who assumed the position on the same day, visited the crime scene and ordered the Sadiqabad police to track the suspects and investigate the robbery.
